Event planning

01

Whether for your customers or employees: We make your company event unforgettable!
Inspire yourself and your guests with an individually oriented event, supervised by our experienced staff.

Let a motorsport driver show you how to motivate yourself every day, how to achieve your goals and what makes a winning type. Who can explain this better than an Olympic champion? Sports2business with a motorsport driver draws the connection between your daily work and the day of a top athlete.

In order for an event to run smoothly, long-term planning is required in advance. There are some essential aspects to planning.

For guidance, you can first ask yourself a few questions:

What should be at the heart of the event?
Which target group should be addressed?
How big is the budget?
Where/When should the event take place?
How many guests are invited?/ How many guests are expected?/ How many guests can the location reach?
How long should the event last? (one evening, one-day, two-day…?)
Is the physical well-being taken care of? If so, which menu and which catering service are selected? Is the food included in the price or do guests have to pay for it extra?
What entertains the guests? Are there any special live acts?
Press or should it remain private?

For a complete event planning many details have to be clarified – therefore one cannot avoid a proper and structured planning.

We will be happy to provide you with an offer that is based on your wishes and ideas.

Sports marketing

02

Sports marketing has become very established in recent years, as can be seen from the sharp increase in the amount of money in sports sponsorship. 57.2 of the highest turnover German companies are active as sports sponsors.
Especially for large companies, the transfer of image and the increase of awareness through engagement in popular sports is a useful tool. In addition, sports sponsorship is also an “effective tool for customer acquisition, customer loyalty and increase sales”.

Within the sports industry, there are some special features in the field of marketing. I would now like to briefly present a few to you. First of all, there is the difference between a sports brand and a consumer goods brand. This can be recognized above all by a crucial detail: Customers become fans at best after the purchase of the product. At sports organizations, the fans of the club also become customers at best. Therefore, the approach is quite different, as it does not make rational decisions here, but emotions play a major role.

One brand, two target groups: fans and sponsors
Brand identity also plays a major role in sports marketing. As in the marketing of consumer goods, it is associated with many attributes that are attributed to the association or sports organisation. They describe the visibility on fans or sponsors. Sponsors play a major role in marketing in every sport. They are the main supporters of the sports organisations and also ensure that they are well positioned in sport. Thanks to a good cooperation with a sponsor, the two brands can charge each other positively.
A good example of the great importance of sponsors is MotoGP. In this motorsport, advertising is not only made on the gangs of the racetracks. The individual racing stables such as Yamaha, Honda, Suzuki or Red Bull-KTM not only market the free spaces on their motorcycles, but also print the logos of their sponsors on the suits and helmets of their riders.

There is a head start in life for those who tackle where the others talk first. – John F. Kennedy

The pilot as a brand

03

Pay attention to your brand!

German athletes have a role model function in terms of the will to perform, so 90.9% of all respondents answer in a non-representative survey.

When athletes are seen as role models on such a broad social basis, we also see it as an obligation to organise their living conditions appropriately.

Due to an ever-increasing media attention, athletes, representatives of racing teams and organizers of sporting events are increasingly in the public eye.

This high level of media interest is again a major reason for the financial and economic commitment of companies in sport: through sponsorship, they want to promote the media presence of the various actors for the transport of their own messages and image dimensions.

It is already remarkable how much effort top athletes have to put up outside of the actual sport today and with what vehemence their costs develop the higher-class they operate their sport. This is also noticeable today by the only 17-year-old Young German racer Dirk Geiger, who now competes in the Team of PrüstelGP at the Moto3 World Championship all over the world. Without a strong team of conditioning and coordination trainers, physiotherapists, top-class trainers and experienced PR and media consultants, this can hardly be achieved – at this high level.
What is important here is press- and media-friendly communication, which should take place on an equal footing with editorial offices, journalists and, of course, television. Properly prepared, it is to be available to them and to provide well-prepared information in good time.

Don’t leave anything to chance, pay attention to your image, let us carry your desired image to the outside world together, we will be happy to help.

Management

04
In recent years, highly professional companies and service providers have emerged around sport: from manufacturers of sportswear to marketers of advertising gangs to managers of professional athletes and clubs, experts are needed who deal with the business backgrounds in the sports business.

Sports managers are responsible for the professional organisation of sporting events or provide their financial resources in sponsorship or sports marketing agencies. Sports management in this area is not only about maintaining tradition, but about actively shaping the future of sport, youth and professionals. Unlike in other management areas, sports management does not necessarily focus on profit optimization or profit maximisation. The maximization of benefits (sporting success) is in principle higher than profit maximization.

Responsibilities may include:

Management of finances
Sponsor search and organization of sponsor appearances
Marketing of an athlete, merchandising and distribution.
Public relations and marketing of athletes, companies in the sporting goods industry (dressing and equipping athletes), sports events: press, radio and television (negotiate TV rights)

Leading sports managers continue to be generalists, comparable to company managers. A well-known example of this is Uli Hoeneß. However, professional titles and activities in sports management are changing. In the course of professionalisation measures in the Bundesliga, the position of sports director responsible for administrative matters of a club was introduced: preparation of schedules (e.g. bookings of training camps, departures), organisation of accommodation for away matches, composition of the squad.

PB Motorsport Events GmbH is a marketing company that covers the entire spectrum of marketing and consulting in sport. This means that we are also active as a competent marketing advisor and as a sponsor for motorcycle racing stables in professional motorcycling. Starting from MotoGP, Moto2 and Moto3 as well as the Worldsuperbike.

As one of the leading companies in sports marketing and consulting in the German-speaking world, PB Motorsport Events has been ensuring successful relations between sport and business for almost 10 years. We combine the interests of our partners in sports and leisure with the marketing and communication goals of companies.

PB Motorsport Events aims to give young, talented and fast racers a real chance to compete on equal terms with the world leaders.

While the leading motorcycle nations train their riders in academies and then accompany their teams in their careers to the top of the world, the participation of many athletes in the lower classes depends not only on talent and skill, but also on the depends on the financial possibilities. Our athletes have to buy into existing teams and pay their own costs. This is only possible with the help of personal sponsors.

PB Motorsport Events helps to provide the financial resources for the corresponding season with its membership and sponsorship concept. At the same time, we support the athletes in team selection, the corresponding negotiations and the season planning. Training preparations (with and without motorcycle) as well as the organization of possible training assignments are just as much part of our offer as the individual coordination of training and sport.

It goes without saying that our commitment is free of charge. The contributions made available to us will be invested in 100 in the careers of our athletes. We inform members and sponsors at all times and in full about the origin and use of our funds.

With your commitment, you can present your products, your service to a worldwide audience and, incidentally, accompany young talents on their way to the top of the world.

School of Champions

06

There is a lack of young German talent for the top class of motorcycle racing, The MotoGP. Currently, three Germans are riding in the Motorcycle World Championship, all three are in the Moto2 class. You can’t think of a climb to MotoGP at the moment. No one comes up with offspring from below. In the preparatory championships of Dorna Sports, the German participants are to be counted in one hand.
That needs to change. The “School of Champions” is intended to revolutionize the work of young talent in Germany. Motorcycling is not an issue for children and young people at the moment, the sport is usually too expensive for parents.

What is the current situation on the market…
At present, there is no cross-country or cross-regional promotion of young talent in Germany. In CH|AU|D children and adolescents hardly come into contact with racing vehicles. The marketing of national and international racing series is also rather inadequate. As a result, motorcycling does not take place in children and adolescents. – The promotion of young talent is usually in the family of the pilots. We have set ourselves the goal of bringing motorcycling to the children and young people.

The school

We will inspire children and young people to enter motorcycle racing through active and goal-oriented events. Within three to five years we will be competing with the first youngsters in one of the Talent Cups.

Event framework

We rent car separation tracks with a pit system. These are secured by the Maltese (paramedics) and there are about 15 people available for the organisation. A kind of motorcycle fair takes place on the premises. Sony Playstation will be there with a truck, a paintball area will be built. – Everything serves to attract a wide audience. The event takes place on Saturday and Sunday.

Marketing & Advertising

We will promote our project at all notable motorcycle fairs in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
Posters and flyers are advertised in all schools within 100 km of the racetracks where the events take place. Radio stations also advertise our event.

The concept

There will be seven events in Germany. These events will take place in a safe and structured setting. All racing series are started on prototypes. Anyone who wins a racing series will receive a race package for the next higher class. The fastest riders in the Moto4 class get an offer from us to start in one of the Talent Cups. – We want to start with the existing team “Kiefer Racing”.

Which racing series would be possible frames…
Electric Pocketbike
Pocketbike
Pocketbike Pro
Minibike
MiniBike Pro
Moto 4

Reporting

Live coverage is ensured via YOUTUBE. We will have 15 cameras (10 track, 5 motorcycles) with a delay of about 1 min. live stream.
Moderation and interviews before and after are also planned.

Motive & Goal

We want to find competitive and, above all, marketable pilots among the German-speaking population. We are convinced that D|AU| CH has the potential to generate a large number of pilots, but we must first focus on motorcycling.
With these pilots, it is certainly easier for us to find partners and sponsors for their way into MotoGP. We want to educate our children and young people from the very beginning, in the right direction, on and off the track. The goal is to place several fast, representative and sympathetic pilots from the German-speaking areas in the DORNA racing series.

Lukas Tulovic

Lukas Tulovic, built in 2000

We have been working with Lukas since 2018. In the first year we managed to place Lukas in the European Championship Moto2 and the Spanish STK600 Championship in the team WIMU.

Lukas was already convincing here and was called up as a replacement driver for the Kiefer Racing Team. In his first year, he had two appearances in the Moto2 World Championship. The Moto2 World Championship is one of the most competitive championships in the motorcycle racing world due to the unitary engines.
Out of a total of 33 riders, he immediately raced (unknown motorcycle, new team and a new track) to the fabulous 22nd place.

In the Moto2 World Championship, the time differences between 1st place and 20th place are often less than one second – madness –

In 2020 we could not find a place for the Moto2 World Championship due to the difficult situation at our racing stable.
For this reason, Lukas will race the MotoE World Cup for the renowned MotoGP Team TECH3 in 2020 and start again in the European Championship Moto2.

Dirk Geiger

Dirk Geiger, built 2002, nickname Dirkules

We have been actively working with Dirk since 2019.
Dirk was able to win the majority of all the national series in which he started, starting from the smallest series – Pocketbike, MiniBike, KTM JuniorCup to the Northern Talent Cup (Europe). He won the latter Cup twice in a row.

Dirk decided to enter the Honda Talent Cup in 2018. This series is the world’s toughest junior racing series. Here he was immediately the best German driver and finished this season in 22nd place out of a total of 72 starters.
In 2019, he repeated this attempt, raced twice to the podium and finished the season on P11.

In 2020 we took over the management and were able to place Dirk at the German racing stable – PrüstelGP – as a driver for the first 4 races in the Moto3 World Championship. With this Dirk skips a class and immediately starts in the highest motorcycle class. After his appearances in the World Championship Dirk will compete in the Junior World Championship for the PrüstelGP team.

From birth, my passion for motorcycles accompanies me. From mopeds to high-performance bikes, I have experienced this passion, but I don’t care what purpose these bikes were built for. Tours, Enduro, Motocross and Racing. – I love it –

In real life, I run a management consultancy on sales and marketing.

The focus is on product placement, employee acquisition, sales impulse and sales at the POS.

I have made it my mission to bring motorcycling to the general public and thus give this passionate, spectacular high-performance sport the platform it deserves.

Without the most important companions, supporters, advocates, friends, companions and acquaintances who support me in my mission, this project would not be possible.

Thanks to every single one…
